Receiving responses and photos from patients

In this section the basics of Accurx knowledge is assumed. If unsure please visit the "Getting Started with Accurx" articles. Also it is assumed that the "Allow patients to respond once" feature has been activated on your account by Accurx. If this feature is not activated you can contact them directly to request activation.

On the Accurx message screen select the "Allow patients to respond once" text-box

On the Accurx toolbar click on your initials

Access the patient thread

To the right of your bar the list with recent patient responses will open, select the one with the relevant patient.

You have the option to save the response to the record, but attachments will not be. It is up to individual practices to establish their own policies & procedures for record keeping of these attachments.

A new window will open on your browser with the file attachment

Accessing patient responses Option 2 - via patient text message history

You can also access individual patient responses via the text message screen. This option requires to have the patient record open.

A list of recent messages will appear by clicking on the "Patient (SMS)" tab

You have the option to save the response to the record, but attachments will not be. It is up to individual practices to establish their own policies & procedures for record keeping of these attachments.

Patient's side

When an attachment request patients receive a text as usual.

Photos can be added from the photo library e.g. taken a week ago, or can be taken at the time.

When the photo of choice is added the form can simply be submitted or edited by going back.

A response will appear and a text will be submitted to notify of successful submission.
