AOVPN Sync
When using a SSHIS Laptop, before you are able to load any clinical system or your smartcard you must secure the laptop with a VPN. The VPN that SSHIS use is called AOVPN. When logging into a device for the first time you must sync the laptop to your user profile. You can do this by following the below steps.
Connect to the WiFi
You must fist connect the laptop to the internet- either WiFi or using a network cable as shown below.
Sync Device
1. Once connected to the internet. Click on the start menu in the bottom left hand corner of the screen, or click the in the search box and start typing 'access work or school' as shown below.
2. Click the option "Access work or school" as shown below
3. Click Connected to NS AD domain. As shown below
4. An 'info' option will then appear as shown below. Click info
5. Scroll down on the displayed screen and select 'Sync' as shown below
6. If not already done so, follow the displayed options to sign into your microsoft account. This may not pop up if you have already signed into your Microsoft account.
Connect to AOVPN
7. If the sync was successful you should now see the AOVPN as shown below. If the AOVPN is not connected, click it to connect. You will then be able to load you smartcard and any clinical system.
