There are 2 ways that you can nominate an EPS Pharmacy within SystmOne.

Option 1. Once you have retrieved a patient click on the "Select the nominated pharmacies for ETP" icon on the toolbar as shown below in diagram number 1

Option 2. Once you have Pressed Print or Save Record when issuing a prescription you will see diagram number 2 pop up where you can "Select the nominated pharmacies for ETP" icon

Once you have clicked on the icon on the toolbar the following box will be displayed (please note if you are not logged in with you smartcard you will not be able to perform this action)

1. Select community pharmacy

One you have clicked to select a community pharmacy the following dialog will be displayed,

1. Here you can select from a list of 'favorite' pharmacies for example "Abbotts Hospital to Home"

2. Here you can select a list of pharmacies closest to the patients postcode

3. Here you can perform a custom search for a pharmacy for example type in a pharmacies postcode or ODS code

4. Once you have selected the pharmacy you press OK

Once you have selected OK the dialog will be displayed to confirm your selection as shown below.

1. To confirm your selection press OK (please note Abbots Hospital to Home is a PHARMACY not an appliance contractor)

To check who the patient has as a nominated pharmacy you would need to hover over the patients demographics box as shown below.

Here you will see the Name address and telephone number of the patients nominated pharmacy

Please note the patients nominated pharmacy can be set at both the GP practice and the pharmacy

Option 1. Once you have retrieved a patient click on the "Select the nominated pharmacies for ETP" icon on the toolbar as shown below in diagram number 1

Option 2. Once you have Pressed Print or Save Record when issuing a prescription you will see diagram number 2 pop up where you can "Select the nominated pharmacies for ETP" icon

Once you have clicked on the icon on the toolbar the following box will be displayed (please note if you are not logged in with you smartcard you will not be able to perform this action)

1. Select Appliance Contractor

One you have clicked to select an Applience Contractor the following dialog will be displayed,

1. Here you can select from a list of 'Appliance Contractors" for example "Fittleworth or Charter Healthcare"

2. Here you can select a list of "Appliance Contractors" closest to the patients postcode

3. Here you can perform a custom search for an "Appliance Contractor" for example type in an "Appliance Contractors" postcode or ODS code

4. Once you have selected the "Appliance Contractor" you press OK

Once you have selected OK the dialog will be displayed to confirm your selection as shown below.
